The fourth week of being at school in Sweden came and people were starting to feel weary. People were getting homesick, sick, tired and in need of some alone time. My roommate (Linnea) and I were talking about moving out of our dorm room and into the dorm where most of the other college line students were. We found out that there was an empty room right next to Olivea (one of the other American students) and Malin (one of the other Swedish students). We were very excited about this so we decided Monday (Måndag) morning we would as the front desk if it was possible to move into Hemgården. We talked to the front desk and was told that the room 207 was used as an emergency room just incase someone needed a room to live in. Bummed, Linnea and I went to breakfast to start our week. We started learning about fruits and vegetables in Swedish. Monday (Måndag) night Swedish class we went to Coop (grocery store) to name some of the foods. Normally during this night class we are supposed to bring one of the Swedes to help us and so we can practice actual conversation in Swedish. When we got to Coop, Linnea was trying to help me say 'sunflower' (solros) for about 10 minutes in the middle of the grocery store. I was having trouble saying the 'o'. We started learning about Rome as we were to leave for our Rome trip in about two weeks. We were told in our college meeting that one of the Indian students would be arriving next Monday (Måndag). We were all really excited and eager to welcome Gabriel to our little group. Thursday (Torsdag) along with creativity came around and I decided to make a welcome sign for mine and Linnea's room. Friday (Fredag)'s P.E. approached and I was starting to feel sick. I was getting really sad by this because P.E was going to Ultimate Frisbee day. (For those who don't know, Ultimate Frisbee is on of my favorite sports to play). I decided that I would power through so that I could play ultimate. After P.E, Linnea mentioned to me that there were students in the music line that lived in Hemgården that wanted to move to Furugården (our current dorm). We found out that their room was split in two so me and Linnea would have to split up... we decided we would rather stay roommates and made the decision to stay in Furugården together. However, Kajsa mentioned that we could possibly move into the emergency/extra room and then make the extra room the split room. We decided we would talk to the front desk on Monday (Mondåg) to see if that would be a possibility. That night, Kajsa's Grandparents (Mor-Mor, and Mor-Far) were visiting and Kajsa asked if I would like to join them for dinner. We decided to go get Kebab pizza (which is a personal favorite of Kajsa and I). We walked around the city a little bit in the misting rain, went to the store and then went back to campus. When we got back to school, some people were planning on going out, so we got ready and then decided to go with. We only stayed out for an hour or so, walked around and then went back to SVF. The next day came, and Jack, Axel, Jonatan, Olivea, and I wanted to watch the original IT so that we could go see the new one together. We got ready and watched the scary 90s Stephen King movie and ate dinner together. After the movie was over, Linnea invited us to go out to the city, we all agreed, got dressed and then headed to Bongo Bar. Bongo Bar is not really my favorite just because it's usually really crowded and has loud music. The weekend came to a close, our schoolwork was getting more intense and conversations in Swedish were becoming easier.
